The Analogy: The Human Brain is similar to a Computer
The brain is commonly thought to be rather like a computer. This 'neck top computer' of yours has its basic operating system at birth -
So when new, you have a brand new all singing all dancing computer system to use. And as it is being used, more information is being input and programs installed on a daily basis, before too long, that system starts to slow down, become sluggish, and filled with unnecessary information. Now with a computer, if sufficient care is not taken, and if used without the correct protection there is the possibility of an infection by virus/worm/trojan attack, once the infected program is installed the operating system fails to work correctly causing all kinds of spurious problems to occur.
The brain is very much like that, lots of circuits (neurons) using pathways to pass information around the brain, with new programs and data (thoughts & experiences) input and stored daily, some information that we store is important for us to remain healthy and keep us working at optimum performance, other information is not quite so important & may not be really necessary and some is just downright junk! Then sometimes just as with a computer a fault is caused by some wrong input (program) which is then stored in your subconscious, the subconscious is rather like the 'Registry' of a computer system, and responsible for the inner workings of the system. Usually faulty information that is installed in our 'Neck Top Registry' has some form of emotional baggage attached, to make it really personal to you -
'Houston we have a problem'!
Now, the important thing with a computer virus is having the correct tools and knowing how to best use them to fix/delete the infected files and to get the system working smoothly again. This is where Visual Coding Displacement Therapy (VCDT) comes in -
So what is Visual Coding Displacement Therapy (VCDT) about?
It is said by some that the eyes are the windows to the soul. Well in all honesty I'm not too sure about that. However, they are the windows to your subconscious mind. They can give away tiny little telltale signs (eye accessing cues) of how your subconscious mind is at work, and how certain aspects of your brain (operating system) is mapped. We use this information (eye accessing cues) to help identify how the information in YOUR subconscious is stored, and to match specific memories and thought patterns with the associated emotions.
VCDT (styled from elements of NLP) is a very new and dynamic development in therapy in The UK today and is really quite a simple process. No specialist tools are required -
1. Locate the incorrectly installed programs/files in your subconscious. (Registry).
2. Clean (Displace) the infected programs/files in the subconscious mind so they can no longer exist.
3. Remap and reboot your brain to make the necessary changes, for a quick but permanent fix.
